PECS의 ‘퍼블릭 서번트’ 라인업은 막대한 공공 수요를 바탕으로 회사에 커다란 부를 안겨주었지만 콘소시엄의 수장들은 거기서 만족하지 않았다.

명령을 받은 비서 레모네이드들은 시장 분석 결과를 통해 민간 시장의 틈을 파고들자고 제안했고, 그것을 통해 PECS의 민간용 라인업들이 세상으로 나오게 되었다.

그중 하나인 Amuse Attendant, 통칭 AA 시리즈는 아름다운 외형과 투철한 서비스 정신으로 선풍적인 인기를 끌었고 이내 테마파크, 경기장 등 전세계의 오락시설에서 그 모습을 볼 수 있게 되었다.

철충의 침공이 시작되자, 인간은 그들을 버려두고 후퇴했다. 남겨진 그들의 심정은 알 수 없으나, 백 년이 넘는 세월 동안 자신의 일터를 지켜낸 사례가 종종 발견되었다.
