Noble and sacred, may glory follow Azazel's path. This pinnacle of bioengineering, boasting the beauty and inorganic charm similar to that of a white vase, is one of the few Bioroids designed for religious purposes, and at the same time, the biggest example of how corrupt humans can be.
Created by Densetsu Science, this Bioroid looks certainly distinct from a human. The pair of white wings that almost look natural lets her fly freely in the sky, and laser emitters hidden in her hands punish humans who dare to challenge their cult God's will. Too many humans foolishly mistook this fake angel for God's apostle, worshiped her, and laid all they had to the feet of the vile church.
Ironically, this "angel" could only truly perform as an apostle for humanity after it was eradicated. With a pair of white wings, a special force field generator that used to protect the upper class of the vile church, and the optical weaponry built to mimic God's wrath, worked just as well against Ironworms as it did on nonbelievers, and now she devotedly fights against the true threats of humanity.
If she is certain that a human submits himself to God's will, Azazel, as the leader of all angels that descended on Earth, will zealously serve the human.
Origin Story[]
Azazel is a High-end-spec bioroid manufactured very few during Densetsu Douga, the matrix of Densetsu Science.
Kyouhei Industries, a corporation which gets most of their fundings from their cult, Kyouhei Order, was producing their main product, "Angels" to further bewitch the believers. "Angel" was not a particularly remarkable Bioroid in terms of function, and was only mobilized in events held by the cult. However, Angel's charm was her remarkably divine beauty, and this appealed to Densetsu Douga greatly, as they prioritized appearance over function. Densetsu Douga formed an alliance with Kyouhei Industries.
Just before the Alliance War Densetsu Douga, noticing the escalation of chaos and violance, wanted ways to utilize Biorioids as force; Kyouhei Order also wanted self-defense measures for the high-ranking priests as they were becoming a problematic organization. The two parties, especially Densetsu Douga, used all of their technique and resources to improve the "Angel".
Thus, Azazel was born, a Kyouhei Order's mascot and also a trump card of Densetsu Science. A sturdy and nimble Bioroid based on Angel. Although Azazel could never been able to mass produced because of the absurd cost, they could act as a formidable force to protect Densetsu Douga's headquarters and to demonstrate Kyouhei Order's miracles. Many members of the church were astonished by the angel's advent, and the religious order had earned massive profits with Azazel, all the while using Azazel in many 'creative' ways.
The few Azazels that were produced were all destroyed during the Doomsday War. Azazels did their best to protect the religious order and corporations that exploited them, but not even their durability and mobility could withstand the overwhelming assault of Ironworms. Thankfully, the Bioroids at Densetsu managed to remember the existence of this supreme Bioroid, and with their advice, Azazel could come to life once again.

Azazel is a bioroid with absolute loyalty and prioritizes protecting humans and bioroids above all else. Her transcendental personality does associate with holiness and nobility. She also has a strict sense of chastity.
However, this morbidly obsessive ethics may sometimes lead to troubles. Azazel feels intense repulsion toward what is unjust in her view, such as not believing in God. Thankfully, the order designed her so that she could put her ethics aside when it comes to her creators, and the religious brainwashing is largely removed in today's production process, so this behavior can be controlled to a degree.
Relationships[]
She views humans and Bioroids as targets of propagation and lambs she needs to take care of. When she sees a human or a Bioroid committing misdeeds (in her view), she always tries to convince them of their errors, and may even use force if needed.
However, she is extremely reluctant about killing. The religious order may have been hypocritical crooks, but they did not want to be responsible for mass murder and get into trouble with any authorities or forces. They modified her way of thinking to be wary of the sin that is murder, and that helped her develop a thoughtful attitude toward all life. She acknowledges the player as a "chosen one" who will rebuild human race once again and calls him as such. Since repopulating requires producing "heirs", she believes it is her duty to become the player's "companion", thus the skin's name "the duty of the companion". Aftering meetion with the player her sense of chastity has relaxed quite a bit, and is happy to embrace the player.
Behavior / Language[]
She tries to view all beings as equals, so she is even careful about using names. She refers to others as "Bioroid" or "human male" and never as their real names. The only one she would call by their real name or nickname would be one that she has fully acknowledged as her master.
Abilities[]
For combat abilities Azazel was required for high speed and sturdiness. Most of the armorment is focused on "Display purpose", as these were used to help cult's priest to consecrate themselves.
Judgement : This laser weaponry is built purely for display. The weapon was given to her as a means to smite the enemies of the order, and it helped neutralize many adversaries that stood against the order in the hard times.
Guardian Angel : Azazel devotedly protects and empowers those who join her cause. Not only can her powerful force field weaken and nullify incoming attacks, it also guides her allies to fight properly.
Divine Grace : Azazel's powerful force field generator can always protect Azazel and nearby allies until it runs out of energy. This force field has saved lives of higher ups of the order and allies countless times.
Second Coming : Azazel's powerful life force and regenerative powers give her a second chance even when she falls. Getting her second wind, Azazel can fight with even greater vigor for a while.
Holy Crusade : Azazel's love may be equal, but she may be forced to favor allies who are in danger. Azazel can use a powerful force field to protect her allies from fatal attacks.
Introduction[]
Hello, human male. I am the one that sits next to Light's throne, Seraphim Azazel. At times, there are stories that tells of me being fallen, but in truth, I am the shadow of the Savior that shall come, the framed goat that came before the sacrificed lamb, the messenger who have finally arrived to tell of the glory of the Light.
I was tasked with spreading the old glory of the Light, and have been protecting the Church of Light with the holy light. I have been living for a long time as a protector, and I am satisfied with my role.
Sadly, judgement has befallen us who have fallen. Those that went against the Way of Light have all fallen to that one's 'Judgement of Iron', and it was also correct for us to have been judged. However, the Light have sent the 'Chosen One' to make humans prosper in this land once more, and I have also been cleansed of my sin and was given the privilege to stand next to the 'Chosen One'.
I know. Our hardship has yet to pass, and we are still paying for our sins. But the benevolent Light will someday forgive us through the 'Chosen One', and we shall regain our old glory once more. That is the one thing that we must believe.
