Excluded Unit[]

This deck centers around Quick Camel, thus Scarabya is excluded due to:

  • She doesn't trigger Quick Camel's Cooperative Attack Icon Cooperative Attack
  • She removes ALL Follow Up Attack Icon Follow Up Attack buff on herself

Due to the aforementioned points, her usefulness in this deck has greatly reduced. However, there might have a deck centers around her in the future.

Sample Team[]

Normal Team[]

This is the normal formation for Horde Deck

Team Formation: Quick Camel on Position 6, Khan on either Position 3 or 9 (put no one behind her), Talon Feather behind Quick Camel, Hyena on opposite position of Khan and Salamander behind her.

Fail-Safe Team[]

This is the fail-safe formation for Horde Deck

Team Formation: Similar to Normal Team formation, Kheshig can be placed at the position of Hyena or Salamander, depends on if fire damage is needed.

Core Equipment[]

Unit Equipment

This deck can't operate without it.

Deck Advantages and Weaknesses[]

Advantages[]

  • Easy to setup: Only need 1 equipment and 2 members for the team to be functional, highly flexible on unit selection for the rest of positions.
  • Near-guaranteed Round 0 capablity: Talon Feather, Khan and Quick Camel grant Spd Up Icon AP to allies at the start of wave; Quick Camel grants herself Spd Up Icon SPD for each Horde member in team, up to 29%; Hyena grants allies Spd Up Icon SPD for each Horde member in team, up to 15%.
  • High hit counts: Every Horde unit can trigger Quick Camel Cooperative Attack Icon Cooperative Attack and Follow Up Attack Icon Follow Up Attack, good against enemies that need high hit counts to deal with, such as Executioner.
  • High consistent damage: Aforementioned, every attack from the units will come with extra attack(s) from Quick Camel, increasing the damage output.
  • Has physical and fire damage: Can handle enemies that are weak to fire damage, such as Chemical Chick Type-X.
  • Marked Icon Marked: Dust storm grants Khan high EVA stat and Marked Icon Marked, essentially makes her into a potent EVA tank and attract enemies' attacks; protecting the other units from Ignore Protect attacks.
  • Fail-safe and debuff cleanse: Kheshig grants Battle Continuation Icon Battle Continuation (1 time, normal effect) to allies every wave, and after the buff is consumed, she grants them Minimize Damage Icon Minimize Damage and Status Resist Up Icon Status Resist+, and Debuff Removal Icon Remove debuffs every round, allows them to withstand some more high damage attacks.

Weaknesses[]

  • Highly rely on Khan as "tank": There is no tank with Row Protect Icon Row Protect/Column Protect Icon Column Protect/Target Protect Icon Target Protect, this deck is highly relying on Khan to have enough EVA.
  • Subjected on AoE attack / AoE Marked Icon Marked debuff: Aforementioned, there is no one to properly protect the units, AoE attacks will damage the other units, AoE Marked Icon Marked debuff will cause the enemies to ignore Khan and attack the other units.
  • No ice and electric damage: Disadvantages against Dryer and Fryer Head/Shell/Shooter.
  • No Buff Removal Icon Remove buffs on enemies: No Horde unit with skill to Buff Removal Icon Remove buffs on enemies.
  • Lack of Ignore Protect attack: Only Khan and Talon Feather have Ignore Protect.
  • Lack of AoE attack: Core Active of Horde units are single-target attacks.

TLDR[]

Good against: Executioner, Aqua Chick G, enemies with low Fire Resist Up Icon Fire Resist: Chemical Chick Type-X, Fridgers, etc
Hard Countered (nemesis, kill fast or get killed fast) By: Big Chick Cannon G, enemies that have high ACC, AoE attack, or passive that can inflict Marked Icon Marked
Weak Countered (pain to deal with or get wrecked if not paying attention) By: Chick Commander (can be negated with equipment or Kheshig), Chick Detectors, Lightning Bomber Type-S, Tracker

How The Deck Works[]

(Before you read the rest of these, please check out Effect List and Speed and AP pages, for understanding what the buffs and debuffs do, and how Spd Up Icon AP+ works for combat.)

This deck is very simple, it centers around Quick Camel. She provides Follow Up Attack Icon Follow Up Attack buff to all Horde units, and every horde unit has at least one Active can trigger Cooperative Attack Icon Cooperative Attack of her Active 2, except herself. This two effects make the attacks of every Horde unit in the team follow with two attacks from Quick Camel, except herself where only Follow Up Attack Icon Follow Up Attack will trigger.

Quick Camel can pack a punch against Heavy enemies, due to her Active 2 have high Defense Penetration Icon Defense Penetration buff, and Anti Heavy Icon Anti-Heavy DMG buff, although the effects will not trigger when performing Follow Up Attack Icon Follow Up Attack and Cooperative Attack Icon Cooperative Attack.

Khan has a special role in this deck. Similar to Elven Forest Maker in Elven deck, she plays as the tank of this deck, similarly, she also relies on her exclusive equipment, Dust Storm, to fulfill her role. Dust Storm grants Khan a very high increase in EVA stat; in fact, it has the highest EVA stat among the gears to date. Additionally, it grants her Marked Icon Marked (normal effect). These two factors combine and make Khan a potent EVA tank capable of attracting enemies' attacks to protect her allies.

However, unlike the other EVA tanks, Khan doesn't have any skill to inflict ACC debuff on enemies, which potentially endanger herself if against enemy with high ACC. To help on reducing the risk of her getting hit, Talon Feather's Active 2 should be her primary Active in most scenarios.

Due to the high amount of Spd Up Icon AP+ buffs from Talon Feather, Khan and Quick Camel, they can easily reach for Round 0. However, it's most likely that only Khan will reach Round 0, followed by Quick Camel, Hyena and Kheshig in the next round.

Hyena provides high Atk Up Icon ATK+ and Spd Up Icon SPD+ buffs for every Horde Unit; Salamander acts as fire damage dealer in this deck, grants herself high Atk Up Icon ATK+ buff depends on the amount of enemies. Salamander's fire debuff is inflicted on enemies only when one of the enemy died. However, it can stack up to 6 times, potentially snowballing and reducing the enemies' fire resist to 0 or even into negative values.

Kheshig acts as the fail-safe of this deck. She grants every unit in the team an one-time Battle Continuation Icon Battle Continuation (normal effect) if they don't have any BC effect. After the buff is consumed, she grants them Minimize Damage Icon Minimize Damage buff and Status Resist Up Icon Status Resist+, and Debuff Removal Icon Remove debuffs every round: Minimize Damage Icon Minimize Damage buff makes them only receive 1 damage from attack, Status Resist Up Icon Status Resist+ buff reduces the chance of them getting any debuff, and the debuffs are removed at the start of every subsequent round. Kheshig basically make them near-unkillable and free from debuffs. However, Kheshig's BC effect only recovers max 3 HP at skill level 10, and it can't be increased with Buff/Debuff Level+ bonus. So the near-unkillable status technically lasts for only 3 attacks, and it only takes effect on the next round, means if the BC effect is used after enemy's first attack in a round, the unit could still be defeated by the second attack in the same round. Beware of it.

Kheshig can grant Horde unit at the frontline Ignore Protect buff with her Active 2, addressing Quick Camel's weakness of not having Ignore Protect in her Actives.

Cerestia is optional pick for replacing Hyena/Talon Feather, acting as buffer, AP pump and debuff remover on command.

How To Play[]

  • Primarily use Kheshig's Active 2 on Quick Camel whenever possible.
  • Primarily use Talon Feather's Active 2 to reduce ACC on enemies.
  • Prioritize using Quick Camel's Active 2 to target enemies with high ACC or those who can inflict EVA debuffs.
  • Others are used as Quick Camel's attack launcher.

Recommended Equipment[]

Equipment For Remark
Able to reach 100% Defense Penetration Icon Defense Penetration with her Active 2
Helps her for reaching Round 0 with Khan
Helps to solve her weakness of not having Ignore Protect in her Actives
Her exclusive equipment, helps her for reaching Round 0
Helps her to trigger her Passive 2 at Wave 1
Everyone Obvious reason, unless you want them to get inflicted by debuffs (talking about you, Speaker)
