Offline Farming, or Autonomous Combat, is a feature added on 7th June 2023 (ver 2.5.3) that allows players to continuously farm a stage without the need of having the game running, works similar to Exploration.

Description[]

Important Notes[]

  • While Offline Farming is active, EXCLUDING Main Story and Event stages, players can access other parts of the game, including Exploration, Sanctum of Alteration, Daily Training and Challenge
  • If the units are saved in a Squad Preset or put in a squad for Infinite War, they are not allowed to be sent to Offline Farming
  • Units or Squad sent to Offline Farming will be locked and unusable until the Farm is completed, similar to Exploration
  • Offline Farming doesn't involve any battle
  • Due to the above reason, ANY unit can be sent to Offline Farming without the need of sending the clearing squad, and it is disregarding level, stats and skills level of the unit (units that are defeated/requiring recovery are still not allowed)
  • Rewards will be reduced to 90% efficiency => 10% less for drops, affection and EXP (apply for units, skills and commander)
  • Deployment costs will be prepaid/reserved when sending squad to Offline Farming, and only be consumed when a run is completed, the rest of unused resources will be returned if the session is ended early
  • You can start an Offline Farming session with full (main & temporary) storages, but you'll need to have at least 1 free space in either one of your temporary unit/equipment storages to receive the rewards

  • Commander level 10 or above
  • The stage has been cleared with ★4
  • The stage has a Best Clear Time recorded

How to use[]

Accessing Offline Farming[]

  • Offline Farming can be accessed from each stage. (Will be in grey color/can't be clicked if any of the Prerequisites has not been fulfilled)

Squad Select Screen[]

  1. You can use any squad you want, but only one squad allowed (doesn't need the clearing squad, sending a single Level 1 B rank unit is possible)
  2. Select unit ranks to auto dismantle (B ranks cannot be deselected, always auto dismantle)
  3. Select equipment ranks to auto dismantle (B ranks cannot be deselected, always auto dismantle)
  4. Best Clear Time: time for a single run to be completed (minimum 30 seconds)
  5. Maximum Run Time: maximum duration of one Offline Farming session
  6. Deployment cost per run
  7. Will bring up Offline Farming Timer Settings

Accessing Other Parts of the Game[]

  • While Offline Farming is active, players will be able to access all content in the game excluding Main Story and Event stages.
  • Remaining time of current Offline Farming session can be viewed from Lobby, World, Main Story, and Events interfaces.

  • Selected squad will be unavailable when Offline Farming is active. (Similar to squad sent to exploration)
  • Combat Status Screen can be accessed by pressing the Check Offline Farming Status button from the World, Main Story, and Events interfaces.

  1. Total runs completed
  2. Unit and Skills EXP gained by the squad
  3. Units, Equipment and Materials obtained
  4. Units and Equipment that were auto dismantled will be labelled

Offline Farming Rewards[]

When receiving the rewards, the units and equipment obtained from Offline Farming will be sent to respective temporary storage, and if the obtained amount is greater than the free spaces available in the respective temporary storage, then they will be sent to Mailbox.

You can't receive the rewards if both temporary storages are full, you need at least 1 free space in either one of them.

EXP Related[]

The Unit EXP gain from Offline Farming, unlike in Auto Farming, is UNAFFECTED by units' skills and equipment, but affected by Leader bonus, Base EXP Rooms, Unit EXP Booster, EXP Rate Up and Link Bonus, and only yields 90% (base) Unit EXP.

  • Example: 5-8EX yields 10,000 Unit EXP per wave (only 1 wave), with a level 20 Base EXP Room (+3.75% EXP) and Leader bonus (+20% EXP) => (10000 * 0.9) * (1 + 0.0375 + 0.2) = 11,137.5, round up, 11,138 EXP per run

The Skill EXP gain is similar to Unit EXP: affected by Leader bonus and Skill EXP Booster, and only yields 90% (base) Skill EXP.

The Commander EXP gain is similar: only yields 90% (base) Commander EXP.

Note: EXP gains are calculated when receiving the rewards, all EXP Up effects don't affect EXP gains between runs.

Affection Related[]

  • Upon receiving the rewards, the units will only gain 90% of wave-win affection based on the amount of completed runs, instead of the amount of waves of the stage.

Maximum Run Time[]

  • Default maximum run time is 3 hours, and can be increased by 9 hours, up to the maximum of 12 hours.
  • Maximum run time can be increased by the following:
    • 1 hour for every 1000 slots in total amount of slots of main unit storage + temporary unit storage + main equipment storage + temporary equipment storage,
    • 1 hour when Tuna Can Subscription (300) is active
    • Example of maximum run time:
      • 200 main unit storage slots + 200 temporary unit storage slots +300 main equipment storage slots +300 temporary equipment storage slots = 1000 total Storage slots = 1 extra hour
      • 600 main unit storage slots + 600 temporary unit storage slots +600 main equipment storage slots +600 temporary equipment storage slots = 2400 total Storage slots = 2 extra hours

Best Clear Time[]

  • Stage must be cleared at least once (after 7th June 2023 maintenance).
  • Best Clear Time starts calculating when entering into the stage (starts after clicking Enter Stage) until the end of last wave (perhaps until EXP screen appears, verification needed).
  • Story Dialogues, Manual Actions, Skills Animation, Death Animation, loading time (drops, round, and damage), and Battle Speed setting will be included in the final recorded time.
  • Only the shortest Best Clear Time (minimum 30 seconds) will be used for Offline Farming.

Tips: Try running stage on auto repeat, turning off story replay, changing battle speed to x3, minimalize the amount of actions your units will take (including idling, which will take half a second to load) by reducing their SPD, and doing it on the best hardware you have, should it be phone or emulator. Do a couple runs to get the shortest Best Clear Time. And pray that you don't get any drop in between rounds.

During Runs[]

You are able to remove/equip equipment on the units, reset their stats points, core-linking/unlink them, or promote them freely, same as the units sent to Exploration.

Bugs[]

  • During receiving Offline Farming rewards, if you click the back button/exit the menu before it is fully loaded, it will seems like your unit(s) receive no EXP, restarting game will update their gained EXP.
  • Similar to the above bug, if you quit/close the game before the menu is fully loaded, you will possibly lose the results of that session of Offline farming: no EXP gained, no drops, and no unused resources return. [Verification needed]
  • Offline Farming doesn't count towards the requirements of certain missions, eg: clear side stages X times, kill X amount of certain type of enemies, etc
